PLSG commits to creating conducive business environment

Plateau State Government says it will continue to create a conducive atmosphere for citizens to pursue their legitimate businesses in the state.

Governor Caleb Mutfwang stated this while playing host to a community of Igbo Youth Wing also known as Izinwne Social Club led by Obinna Okwakwu who paid him a visit at the Old Government House, Rayfield, Jos, Friday.

Represented by the Deputy Governor, Mrs Josephine Piyo, the governor said the doors of the state will remain open to people willing to do genuine business. He commended the Igbo people and other tribes who have contributed to the economic development of the state.

The governor acknowledged the support and contribution enjoyed from the Igbos who stood firm to ensure that the People’s Democratic, PDP was not only voted massively but also made sure that the votes were protected, culminating in their victory.
He also appreciated them for supporting those affected by the security challenges in the state.

He reiterated his resolve to revive and reposition Operation Rainbow and other security outfits for the protection and welfare of all citizens in the state.
Earlier, leader of the Youth Wing, Igbo Community and Izinwne Social Club, Obinna Okwakwu who spoke through his secretary, Uzo Herbert, said they were on a solidarity visit to congratulate the government on their victory at the polls and also intimate the government on the activities of the group.

He highlighted that members of the association were business people and that Igbos voted massively for government of the day.

He advised them to resuscitate the moribund security outfit, Operation Rainbow to secure the rural areas. He expressed readiness to partner with the government in commerce.
