Uni-Abuja set to recruit international students

University of Abuja is participating at the World View Education Fairs in Nairobi, Kenya, in a bid to recruit international students, foster global partnership and expand its global reach.

The delegation to Kenya which was led by the Deputy Vice Chancellor ( Academic) and Director of the International Center of the university, Professor Aisha Sani Maikudi, included the Director, Advancement Office, Dr Yusuf Lawal, Deputy Registrar, Academic Affairs, Mallam Alhassim Umar and Ibrahim Kwaji of the university’s International Center.

Maikudi explained that ” We are thrilled to be at the fore front of this historic initiative to recruit international students and promote Nigeria as a leading study destination. By participating in the World View Education Fairs, we are opening doors to new opportunities for global collaboration and academic excellence.”

In addition to its participating in the World View Education Fairs, the university has further spearheaded ” The study in Nigeria ” initiative which was conceived by the founder of ‘find admission. com ‘and CEO of World View International Group, Mr Folabi Obembe.

As part of this initiative, Obembe has pledged a generous sum of N1 million scholarship fund to support the recruitment of international students in the University of Abuja.
