Value Jet Airline kicks off daily operation

Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, recently flagged-off the commencement of daily flight by Value Jet Airline from Abuja to Bauchi.

The Governor at the launching of the Value Jet Airline held at the Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport, said that the resumption of the flight by Value Jet Airline will boost tourism industry in the state.

He assured that the resumption of the flight marks a significant milestone in his administration’s ongoing efforts to enhance transportation, facilitate the movement of goods, services, and people.

According to him, the effort will also promote the growth of Bauchi State, as transportation is key to any thriving economy.

The governor explained that flights from Abuja to Bauchi will play a pivotal role in connecting the state with the rest of the nation.

“It’s a crucial artery for the exchange of commerce, ideas, and culture. I want to emphasise our commitment to ensuring ease of business, security, and the safe movement of people and goods within Bauchi State”, he said.

He stressed that his government has invested heavily in road networks and therefore noted that air travel is equally essential.

He pointed out that Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport, serves not only Bauchi State but also neighbouring states of Yobe, Jigawa, Gombe, and Adamawa.

The State Governor used the occasion to commend the management of the airline for choosing Bauchi State as one of its destinations, stating that the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport boasts state-of-the-art facilities to ensure the effective operation of airlines.

“Your decision is a testament to the immense potential and opportunities that our state offers. Be assured that the Bauchi State government stands firmly behind you”, the Governor assured.

He expressed the commitment of the state towards ensuring the profitability and smooth operation of the airline in the state.

The governor, while thanking the regulatory agencies under the Ministry of Aviation for their support in maintaining the airport to global standards and best practice, reiterated his administration’s unwavering commitment to promoting ease of doing business and ensuring the safety of passengers.

He called on all the airlines operating on Abuja to Bauchi route to maintain the highest standards of professionalism, punctuality, and consistency as the good people of Bauchi State are very much with them.
