NAHCON directs intending pilgrims on Hajj fare

Plateau State Muslim Pilgrims’ Welfare Board has stated that the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), directs intending pilgrims from the State to pay the sum of 4.5 million Naira only pending when the final fares would be announced by the NAHCON.

This was contained in a press release,signed by Namu Sanusi, Public Relations Officer to the Acting Executive Secretary, Plateau State Muslim Pilgrim’s Welfare Board and made available to SUNDAY STANDARD recently.

The statement added that the acting Executive Secretary of the Board, Hajiya Aisha Ibrahim Saleh said NAHCON has recently allocated 1345 Hajj slots to the state and assured that, priority would be given to those who could not perform last year’s Hajj. However, newly intending pilgrims would be on a first come, first served basis.

She urged intending pilgrims to make their deposit on time to enable the Board make remittance to NAHCON in good time.

And emphasised that this announcement supersedes the earlier one placed two (2) weeks ago.
