Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang of Plateau State has encouraged the Nigerian Christian Corpers to be faithful ambassadors of Christ as they serve the nation with diligence

According to him, they should be steadfast and committed in their pursuit of holiness and righteousness, saying that there is no better way to serve God effectively.

He stated these while opening the 40th National Conference of Nigerian Christian Corpers Fellowship (NCCF) held at the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency ( NDLEA), Rikkos, Jos, the Plateau State capital.

The Governor, who was the Chairman of NCCF, Kaduna State Chapter in 1990, reminded the Corps members that “Not all that glitters is gold” and urged them to seek God’s will before making any decision that affects their lives.

According to him, a double-minded person tries to love God and the world at the same time, but a pure in heart is without compromise. He added that God will surely reward their positive impact on the society.

“One thing I want you to know is that NYSC is a transition year where you move from being a student to contributing your quota to society. And NYSC year is very crucial because where you go from there matters a lot in your life,” he stated.

A member of the Board of Trustees, Reverend Gideon Para-Mallam, who welcomed Governor Mutfwang on behalf of other senior officials, thanked him for attending the event and urged him to remain a worthy ambassador of the NCCF.

He said Governor Mutfwang was the only governor who had attended the National Conference of Nigerian Christian Corpers Fellowship and praised him for his humility.

National President of NCCF, Moses Ajibodu, said the corps members who came across the six geopolitical zones were inspired by the presence of the governor and appreciated his virtues of humility, mentorship and care.
