OFFICER of the Inspection Police Operatives (IPO) Unit, Plateau State Command, Inspector Nanzing Mallam, has confirmed before the court that all the allegations earlier labelled against Prophet Moses Essessein, of former Mount Zion Ministry Bassa, now Miracles Prayer Ministry, as the truth.
Recall that the allegations border on the prophet hypnotising and having carnal knowledge of a married woman, Mrs Abayomi Adewomi.

It was earlier reported that a friend of Abayomi’s wife, Cecilia Joshua, and others including the landlady of the room rented at Karshen Jenta and other witnesses before Justice Dung, of Area Court West Of Mines Jos, testified to the same allegations.

The IPO said, based on privileged information given by Mrs. Adewomi through his colleague, SPL Abbu Clement, their team swiftly embarked on a fact finding investigation to Omega Hotel where the prophet took her to and requested for hotel manifest and was able to discover that the prophet registered with the name John instead of Moses as revealed by Mrs Adewomi.

He disclosed that they have proof of how the prophet got her pregnant and rented a house for her around Karshen Jenta and also evidence of how the pregnancy was aborted through drug administered by one Paul Nimmyel, the prophet’s Personal Assistant.

The Inspector added that there were nude pictures of Mrs Adewomi, in their possession as an exhibit snapped by the Prophet which he used in intimidating her not to tell her husband or he would expose it on social media. “We have recorded statements of the prophet, witnesses and the victim.

Identifying some of evidence which included the anointing oil given by Prophet Moses to be used by Abayomi’s father which later died, Mallam said the anointing oil has the picture of the prophet on the label.
However, the Prosecuting Counsel presented documents in evidence before the Court including a CD plate containing video messages recorded which were labeled in evidence as U-1 to U-11 respectively. Although, Counsel to the Prophet objected the receipt of the CD video message, but it was overruled.

Earlier, one Mrs Hanatu Musa, of All Denominations Church 3- Armoured Division Jos, appeared before the court testifying that, Prophet Moses Essessein collected #500,000 from her when she went to him for prayers.

She said, “I was not in my senses when the prophet together with his wife, took me in his car to the bank and transferred five hundred thousand naira (#500,000). When I reported the case to the Police in 2021, he promised to pay me back in instalments. In essence, by November 2021, he would have paid me #200,000, January 2022 #150,000 and February 2023 the sum of #150,000, but to no avail and an agreement is written before the Police”.
