PS urges on spirit of togetherness

PERMANENT Secretary, Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, Plateau State, Mallam Ibrahim Garba Kam has urged staff of Plateau Publishing Corporation(PPC), to continue in the spirit of togetherness.

Speaking during a courtesy visit paid by the staff of the finance and audit directorates of the corporation in his office at Joseph Gomwalk secretariat, Jos, last Wednesday, he said that, he was strengthened by the visit, which signifies that we are a family, while appreciating God Almighty and the captain of the rescue team,Executive Governor of Plateau State, Rt. Hon Simon Bako Lalong for giving him the opportunity to serve as a Permanent Secretary in his administration.

According to Kam, out of many names that were shortlisted for the position of Permanent Secretary, few were chosen and God made it that  was among the few”.

He said that he remained grateful to God and PPC, for the cooperation given him while serving as the Director of Finance and Supply for the period of six years.

Speaking earlier during the visit, the Director of Audit Directorate , Mr. Michael Bakat Dalohom who spoke on behalf of staff, stated that their aim of the visit was to congratulate him over his elevation to this enviable position, which is the dream of every civil servant to attain

He stressed that “we were never in doubt when we heard of his elevation to Permanent Secretary, because your hardwork, commitment and dedication have stood you out among others

Dalohom prayed that God Almighty would continue to see him through his assignments for the state and the country at large.

Highlights of the visit was the presentation of a plaque to the PS as a mark of togetherness in unity and progress.
